❤️ JB 11 has accompanied me over the past six months during my time here in France as part of my youth volunteer service. It has encouraged me, carried me, and also exhorted me to hold firmly to Jesus Christ, His truth, and our calling. Through Jakobsbrunnen, I have been equipped with everything I need. Even though I often couldn’t attend the group sessions because of my work schedule, I could clearly sense—through my anticipation beforehand and the spiritual clarity afterward each JB Sunday—what a blessing this time is.
💪📤 I was encouraged to be bold and to share insights into the spiritual realm as well as prophetic words with the Bible school students and fellow volunteers (my environment since September), and to keep asking Jesus Christ again and again.
🕊️🫂 I was joyfully reminded to spend time again and again with Jesus Christ in heaven—to experience things or simply to come to rest with Him and in Him. I was encouraged and experienced how strengthening, alive, and rich it is to remain in dialogue with Jesus—to keep asking questions—even when spiritual dimensions/realities and the freedom I experience are not known or lived out in the same way in my Christian environment. Holding on to Jesus Christ—His voice and His Word—has strengthened me daily in my identity, my calling, and in moving forward ❤️🔥
🚨 EXHORTATION: I woke up and realized where I had been asleep or had become resigned. Through Siggi’s message, I recognized where I had been living for myself and turned away from it. Then I felt again the power of the Holy Spirit within me, who wants to use me right here. Renewed, set free, equipped, and encouraged, I moved forward again.
🔦🦋 BREAKTHROUGH in my identity in Christ: I newly understood and experienced that Jesus Christ lives in me, that I am a completely new creation, and that the Holy Spirit is renewing my mind completely.
🔗🌱 NEW INSIGHTS + GROWTH: At times, I still get stuck in old patterns of thinking. The reality that through baptism and belonging to Christ I am a new person (2 Corinthians 5:17) takes time to fully take root in my mind in certain areas and requires my conscious decision to establish it fully. This understanding and experience—and the freedom that comes with it—have, among other things, been established through Jakobsbrunnen. And the process continues ❤️🔥
Thank you to everyone involved in and participating in Jakobsbrunnen who allow themselves to be used by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and who invest in God’s kingdom. Thank you to my Nehemiah group—for your activity, your willingness to hear God’s voice and share it, your love, your acceptance, and your willingness to sacrifice in order to follow Christ ❤️🙌🙌
All glory to Jesus Christ, our Lord!
